Oaxaca Airbnbs: 10 Incredible Places to Stay

If you’ve been reading my blog for a while, you’ve probably caught on that I love Airbnbs! As a lover of interior design and stunning views, I appreciate how Airbnbs help satisfy my dream home fantasies while I’m away on vacation. I’ve stayed at INCREDIBLE Airbnbs in places like Big Island Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and Joshua Tree National Park. As I was researching places to stay in Oaxaca for my July trip, I also found some incredible Airbnbs that I’m excited to share with you.

Each listing comes with basic details like location, nearby cities and attractions, how many people it fits, and the nightly rate. I picked Airbnbs that have a rating of 4.8 stars or above and all of them are located centrally in Oaxaca. In my opinion, they are the creme de la creme of Oaxaca Airbnbs. If you end up finding one you like, make sure you book months in advance. They can get booked fast.

Courtyard homes or Quadrangles are common in historic Taiwan and China. In fact, the earliest courtyard house found in China was during the Middle Neolithic period (5000-3000 BCE). They are homes that connect multiple rooms or houses with a central courtyard. The courtyard design serves to increase harmony and a sense of unity within the family. It increases the likelihood of family members running into each other as they go about their day, isn’t that neat?

This Oaxaca home immediately stood out to me because of how much it resembles a courtyard home. Fitting 14 guests, this restored house is the perfect gathering place for your next extended family trip.

I loved the rooftop we had in Puerto Vallarta so when I saw this Oaxaca listing, I was immediately in love! Not only is there a private rooftop with mountain views, this Airbnb’s rooftop is also equipped with a hammock that you can spend hours on with a book.

Although – what are you doing with a book while visiting a city like Oaxaca?! There’s also super cute neon signs sprinkled throughout the space. This is another great option if you’re planning a bachelorette or bachelor party.
